Experimental Gameplay #10 - Player Confused; Spectator Clear

This game consists of an experimental prototype for a VR game mechanic.

Goal: Destroy all the Ghosts with minimal damage to the warehouse.

Platforms: Only Oculus is officially supported. Other HMDs may or may not work.

Controls:

* Left Thumbstick to move.

* Right Trigger to shoot.

* You can't see the ghosts, use your phone to help you find them with the help of your friends watching your computer screen.

This game was made for a class at the University of Utah known as "Experimental Gameplay", which challenges students to make short games with unique mechanics using a gamejam-like format. For this game I decided to experiment with a unique VR mechanic revolving around the interaction between players and their spectators.
